Tents With Black Sleeping Cabins – For Maximum Sleeping Comfort

With dark sleeping cabins, you'll not only sleep longer, but also more soundly. Whether you want to snooze until late in the morning or take a nap in the afternoon - a tent with a dark sleeping cabin makes this possible, no problem at all. Especially for people who are sensitive to light and are woken up by the first rays of sunlight, tents with black cabins are the perfect solution. After all, a good night's sleep is essential for a relaxed camping holiday and for enjoying the day's excursions and activities to the full.

This tent category is particularly suitable for families with small children. A family tent with a dark sleeping cabin ensures that the sleeping rhythm of your little adventurers is maintained during your holiday. Putting the kids to bed before it gets dark or getting them to take a quick nap now and then - dark sleeping cabins make this so much easier for parents!

Skandika Sleeper Technology

Our innovative Skandika Sleeper Technology is all about a special black coating on the inside of the tent fabric. The flysheet around the sleeping cabins and the doors of the sleeping cabins are made of this special tent fabric, which prevents up to 100% of light from entering. With the exception of a few possible rays of light around the edges, the inner tent is dark - even on the brightest day.

At the same time, the space between the outer tent and the sleeping cabin ensures excellent air circulation. The hanging sleeping cabin itself is made of mesh material in this area, so that fresh air can help you sleep soundly while keeping midges and other unwanted creepy-crawlies out. Dark sleeping cabins also contribute positively to a more pleasant tent climate on sunny days.

Tents with dark sleeping cabins can be recognised by the "Sleeper" suffix in their product name. Tents with the "Sleeper Protect" suffix have a sewn-in tent floor in addition to the Sleeper Technology.

Special Silver Coating & Black Inner Tent

Apart from our tents with Sleeper Technology, we also have tents with a special silver coating. This coating reduces the amount of light entering the tent, but not completely. Tents with a dark sleeping cabin and silver coating are, for example, the Trivelig 6 Protect or Trivelig 8 Protect. The Kambo 4, on the other hand, just has a black sleeping cabin, but even this helps keep things nice and dark.
