Our innovative Skandika Sleeper Technology is all about a special black coating on the inside of the tent fabric. The flysheet around the sleeping cabins and the doors of the sleeping cabins are made of this special tent fabric, which prevents up to 100% of light from entering. With the exception of a few possible rays of light around the edges, the inner tent is dark - even on the brightest day.

At the same time, the space between the outer tent and the sleeping cabin ensures excellent air circulation. The hanging sleeping cabin itself is made of mesh material in this area, so that fresh air can help you sleep soundly while keeping midges and other unwanted creepy-crawlies out. Dark sleeping cabins also contribute positively to a more pleasant tent climate on sunny days.

Tents with dark sleeping cabins can be recognised by the "Sleeper" suffix in their product name. Tents with the "Sleeper Protect" suffix have a sewn-in tent floor in addition to the Sleeper Technology.

Apart from our tents with Sleeper Technology, we also have tents with a special silver coating. This coating reduces the amount of light entering the tent, but not completely.
