Skandika tunnel tent Kemi 4 persons

Favoured by the waterways, the harbour town of Kemi was already an important trading centre for fish and furs in Finland in the Middle Ages. The Scandinavian traders of that time would have been happy to have accommodation like the Kemi from Skandika. The four-person tent not only defies Finnish natural conditions, but is also a safe and cosy shelter in all other latitudes.

The compact 4-person tent is particularly flexible, as the front tent wall can be easily folded down to create a completely new floor plan. Thanks to the zip-out front wall, you can choose between an extra-large living area and a covered veranda. Depending on the weather, this can be used as a sheltered retreat from the wind and weather, a play area or a cooking area.

The two sleeping cabins can also be hooked in or out separately as required. The cabins have their own firmly sewn-in groundsheet and mosquito netting at the entrances to keep annoying insects out at night.

In addition to the colour, the three versions differ in their cabins. The cabins of Kemi 4 in olive/orange are light and without silver coating, those of Kemi 4 in blue/grey are dark and without silver coating.

A new feature is the silver coating on the outer tent in the sleeping cabin area for the Kemi 4 in anthracite/green. Although this coating does not come close to the darkening level of the Skandika Sleeper technology, it still contributes to a noticeable darkening and thus ensures a more restful sleep.

The breathable tent material and the many windows ensure a pleasant tent climate and plenty of light. The windows can be darkened at night. The Kemi has a comfortable standing height of 200 cm and many practical extras such as a ceiling hook for a camping lamp and generous organiser pockets for small items that need to be kept close to hand.

The compact tunnel tent can be pitched in no time at all and is very stable, while the 3,000 mm water column provides good protection from wind and weather and plenty of comfort. The groundsheet for the living area, a robust carry bag, pegs and assembly instructions are included.
