1st Alpsee Camping in Immenstadt in the Allgäu

At this campsite, the term luxury camping takes on a new meaning. Situated by the Alpsee, this camp offers a pool with sun deck, a wellness area with several saunas and a restaurant. In addition to the shared sanitary facilities, you also have the option of renting a private bathroom to upgrade your glamping experience. Your four-legged friend is also very welcome - making it an ideal place for camping with a dog.

Camping in the Allgäu by the lake offers you plenty of opportunities to be active. You can hire equipment from the nearby water sports school or book windsurfing lessons. The nearby Nagelfluhkette Nature Park is ideal for hiking, mountain biking and walking. A special tip: An evening hike to the Riedberger Horn to watch the sun set behind Lake Constance. Plan around 1.5 hours for the ascent. Simply park at the Grasgehren mountain hut. As a precaution, take a head torch with you for the way back in case it gets dark quickly after sunset.

2nd Camping Bergheimat in Oberjoch

The terraced campsite in Oberjoch has many different pitches to suit every taste. With the roll service, kiosk and a regular delivery of fresh products from the region, you are well catered for. In addition, the Kaminstube offers a cosy place to relax with hot and cold drinks. The campsite in the Allgäu also has a sauna with a great view and sanitary facilities with underfloor heating.

The Bad Hindelang PLUS card is included in your camping holiday. This allows you to use mountain railways in the surrounding area free of charge and benefit from other free services such as admission to swimming pools, archery or hiking tours. There are many hiking trails within walking distance. A recommendation for experienced hikers: Walk from the Wiedhagbahn cable car up the driveway to the Wiedhag-Alpe or alternatively take the cable car up there. Then follow the hiking trail up to the Iseler. From there, follow the Iseler ridge to the so-called smugglers' path, which takes you back down into the valley. The ridge hike offers you a great view of the surrounding nature.

3. camping Oberstdorf

The campsite is located directly on the outskirts of Oberstdorf and is characterised by its beautiful mountain panorama. The campsite is equipped with modernised washrooms, washing machines and cooking facilities for campers with tents. A bread roll service** in the morning provides a hearty breakfast and you can enjoy Bavarian meals in the campsite restaurant**. There is also a playground for younger guests.

Make sure you have the right equipment** such as hiking boots, poles, a comfortable rucksack and plenty of water!

4. camping Pfronten

Nestled in the beautiful Allgäu countryside, this campsite offers space for your tent, caravan or campervan on its meadow pitches. The fairly simple campsite has well-maintained sanitary facilities, a playground for the little campers and a kiosk** where you can get coffee and cake. The kiosk also offers fresh bread rolls in the morning to give you a full start to the day.

As part of your stay in Pfronten, you can book the Königscard directly at the campsite, which allows you to visit various excursion destinations** free of charge and take the mountain railway** to the next summit in comfort. This option is valid for stays of 6 nights or more. It includes many swimming pools, climbing parks, museums and boat trips. In the immediate vicinity you will find the Reichenbachklamm gorge, which you can hike through. In Austria, a trip to the highline179 - a hanging rope bridge that stretches 406 metres across the valley - is well worthwhile.

5. camping Grüntensee

Whether a pitch by the torrent or directly on the lake promenade - you have fantastic views of the surrounding landscape and mountains from everywhere. The campsite by the lake in the Allgäu is equipped with state-of-the-art sanitary facilities, an igloo sauna and a small supermarket**. Dogs are also very welcome, and there is a *dog shower* outside the sanitary facilities. There is also a fitness room and a barbecue and campfire area**. If you want a very special experience, spend a night in a *wooden igloo or wooden barrel*!

6th Camping Hopfensee in Füssen

You can really have a good time at the campsite on Lake Hopfensee. Whether sauna, spa area, swimming pool, tennis court, cinema or a lawn - every wish will be fulfilled here. There is also plenty of variety for younger guests. There is a fun pool for the little ones, a large playhouse or a craft room as well as childcare. You will also find a restaurant and a small supermarket where you can get everything you need for your daily needs.

Füssen is primarily known for Neuschwanstein Castle, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. Hohenschwangau Castle is also worth a visit. In Füssen itself, the old town is well worth a visit. The Hopfensee and the surrounding lake landscape are ideal for water activities such as fishing, boat trips and swimming. There is also plenty to do on land thanks to the many hiking trails - a trip to the Tegelberg is well worthwhile!
