The Skandika Nimbus range offers fantastic outdoor adventures for larger families and groups. The clever design of the Nimbus 12 offers comfort and flexibility for up to 12 people, as the front tent wall is movable: it can either be attached right at the front to make the living area inside a little larger, or moved a little further back to create a covered area in front of the entrance - depending on your needs.
The front tent wall is attached either at the front or further back in the tent. This allows you to enlarge the inner living area or create a covered area in front of the entrance that is protected from the sun and bad weather - depending on your own requirements.
The front of the tent is fastened with a zip and is very easy to move. Thanks to the two matching tent floors for the main area (tub-shaped) and the entrance area (flat), there are many different possible uses that can be realised in no time at all.
Three sleeping cabins are supplied: two smaller and one larger. If you don't need all 12 sleeping berths, you can also use the cabins as additional storage space or remove them completely to create an even more spacious living area.
The largest of the three sleeping cabins has a roll-up partition wall. Organiser pockets at the cabin entrances help to keep things tidy and the firmly sewn-in floors ensure a restful night's sleep without rising damp or draughts.
The Nimbus 12 has an additional entrance behind the large sleeping cabin. Even when the cabin is hooked in, this ensures plenty of fresh air, as the cabin itself also has a door at the back so that a fresh breeze can flow through the tent on warm days.
In the roof of the living area, there is a permanent ventilation system with mosquito net protected from the outside and two smaller plastic roof windows for more light. These can be darkened inside at night and a camping lantern can be hung from the practical ceiling hook.
There are also small plastic windows in the lower section of the flysheet. Half-moon openings with zip fasteners in the sleeping cabins allow more light to enter at these points or a cable for charging a mobile phone can be conveniently fed into the cabin.
Steel and fibreglass poles ensure a secure footing even in strong winds, and the extremely high water column of the outer tent of 5,000 mm and the carefully sealed seams offer safety and comfort, even in storms and heavy rain.
Whether in the great outdoors, on the campsite or at a festival, the Nimbus 12 always ensures a flexible and comfortable camping experience. The Nimbus range is also popular as a party tent: cabins out, fairy lights in and off you go!
