The Skandika Kalmar is a compact 6-person tunnel tent with that certain something. A large panoramic roof over the entire living area combined with quick and easy pitching make this tent an absolute crowd favourite - even among camping newcomers.

Two sleeping cabins for up to three people each are located on opposite sides of the living area, offering a little more privacy. For smaller families and groups who only need one cabin as a sleeping area, one of the cabins can also be used as additional storage space for luggage and equipment. For reliable protection against insects and creepy-crawlies, the cabins have a firmly sewn-in floor and mosquito netting in the upper area of the doors. The rear walls are also partly made of mesh fabric. This favours a healthy exchange of air and ensures a pleasant climate in the cabins.

The two entrances at the front and rear of the tent provide practical access to the living area. With the help of the two poles supplied, one of the doors can also be used as a sun canopy to provide shade.

In addition to the entrances, two large windows allow plenty of light into the tent even when the doors are closed, but are also fitted with weatherproof blackouts on the outside for privacy. Consisting of transparent foil and additional mosquito net inserts in the upper area, they ensure good air circulation at all times in combination with the mesh windows behind the cabins.

The absolute highlight of the Skandika Kalmar is the unique panoramic roof, which extends over the entire living area. The roof surface is made of transparent film and offers a breathtaking view of the sky. Plenty of light during the day and a clear view of the stars at night - the feeling of being outside in nature, almost under the open sky, is truly unique. A clever roof cover is included and provides the necessary shade on particularly sunny days. It can be pulled over the tent in no time at all and securely fastened with hooks.

Thanks to the 3,000 mm water column and the robust poles, the Kalmar is completely wind and weatherproof. Whether rain or sunshine, cool autumn days or balmy summer nights - the Kalmar 6 adapts perfectly to the weather conditions and always ensures a comfortable stay. The fibreglass poles are all the same length, making pitching the tent child's play and ensuring that no time is wasted sorting poles!

Organiser pockets in the sleeping cabins keep important small items safe and within easy reach at all times and a practical ceiling hook provides a hanging option for a camping lamp. A matching groundsheet is supplied for the living area, which is hooked into the corners and also securely staked down to prevent it from slipping.
