Our popular Egersund series of tents, all featuring a fully sewn-in groundsheet, has now been expanded to include a slightly larger version which also has our Skandika Sleeper Technology. The sturdy, weatherproof tent is an excellent choice for families camping with children or for friends travelling together who appreciate comfort and quiet nights.

This tent features a special coating on the flysheet in the area around the sleeping cabin, which absorbs almost 100% of sunlight. Want to sleep in longer, get the kids to bed earlier, or take a midday nap? – it's all possible!
Flexible sleeping cabin
For added flexibility, the cabin can be closed using only the mosquito mesh doors, allowing fresh air to circulate while keeping insects out. Thanks to the roll-up fabric wall it can also be divided into two smaller areas for more privacy if required.
Sewn-in groundsheet
The groundsheet of the Egersund 7 XL Sleeper Protect is firmly sewn to the flysheet, providing all-round protection against bad weather, draughts, and damp. It also keeps unwanted creepy-crawlies out.
Ideal weather protection
Robust fibreglass poles and the 5,000 mm water column provide reliable protection against storms and heavy rain. The UV protection factor 50+ of the tent material prevents the flysheet from becoming brittle or cracked due to intense sunlight and makes it more durable.

The front entrance features a clever canopy, and the two upright poles allow the side entrance to be used as a larger sun canopy for more shade. Whether at the front or side entrance, a shady spot can be created in no time wherever direction the sun is shining.
