Ergometers and exercise bikes are extremely popular as home gym equipment. They come closest to cycling in terms of movement, whereby the incline of the track, i.e. the resistance, can be adjusted as required. They are the typical home equipment for endurance and cardio training and are perfect for beginners as well as experienced athletes.

The Skandika Ulisses cardio bike with its 11 kg flywheel system and 8 manually adjustable resistance levels is not only powerful, but also whisper-quiet thanks to the maintenance-free magnetic brake system.

Nice and compact, Ulisses fits into any home, and integrated transport castors make it easy to move and stow the exercise bike within the room. The position of the well-padded and ergonomically designed seat can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically. The sturdy construction and excellent adjustment options ensure a safe workout for users with a height of up to 195 cm and a maximum weight of 150 kg.

The exercise bike has a low entry, ensuring a comfortable start to your training. This is particularly advantageous for beginners and those returning to sport, as well as for use in rehab-sport for patients with restricted movement.

The LCD info display clearly shows all relevant training data, such as time, speed, distance, calories, revolutions/min and pulse. Integrated hand pulse sensors help to keep you training in the right rhythm and at the right heart rate. In this way, the workout can be perfectly tailored to anyone, regardless of their level of fitness. An integrated receiver for a chest strap (optionally available) is a clever extra.

Workouts should not only be effective, but also fun. That is exactly why we have equipped the Ulisses computer with a Bluetooth interface. This means that using apps such as Kinomap, Fitshow or Zwift, you can record and track training data even more efficiently, you can cycle virtual routes, or play your favourite music – your tablet or smartphone is kept nice and safe in the integrated holder.

With the Skandika VIP access to the Kinomap platform, you can train virtually at various locations and explore the whole world. With up to 25 selected training videos, you can train free of charge for a year in Discovery or Challenge mode – wave boredom goodbye!
