What does the weight of a boxing glove say?

The weight of a boxing glove is given in ounces (OZ). One ounce corresponds to approximately 28.35 g. If the number of ounces is higher, this means a heavier but also better padded boxing glove. In addition, the training effect is more intense with heavier boxing gloves.

What size boxing gloves do I need?

The choice of the right boxing glove depends on your body weight. The higher the body weight, the heavier the boxing glove should be. We offer boxing gloves in sizes 10, 12, 14 and 16 OZ, which are suitable for body weights of 45-60 kg, 60-73 kg, 73-90 kg and over 90 kg respectively.

How heavy should a punching bag be for me?

The heavier the punching bag, the greater the resistance and effort required. As a beginner, your punching bag should weigh approx. 1/3 of your body weight. With a body weight of 75 kg, this would correspond to a punching bag weight of 25 kg. However, make sure that the punching bag is never heavier than 75% of your body weight.

How can I hang up the punching bag?

Our punching bags are equipped with a 4-point chain, which is already mounted and fitted with a swivel at the top. You can attach it to the ceiling using the ceiling hook included. However, pay attention to the structure of the ceiling.

What is a punching bag filled with?

Most punching bags are filled with fabric and leather scraps, plastic granules, cork, dry rice or pulses. Our already filled punching bags are filled with fabric remnants.
