When camping with the family, planning and organisation are the be-all and end-all. But what do you need for camping with children? It depends on the destination, the age of the children and personal wishes. To make it a little easier for you to prepare for your next camping holiday with children, we have put together a camping packing list for families. You can also find more tips for camping with children in our blog to make your first family holiday at the campsite easier.

The most important documents

First check the most important documents and see for which country you may need certain visas, insurances or vaccinations. Make sure that all ID cards and other cards are still valid for long enough.

The tent equipment

With children, you need more space due to the additional luggage. Here it is practical to choose an additional sleeping cabin or a larger tent in general so that you can easily accommodate all the equipment for camping with children and it is more comfortable. There is enough space for camping equipment, toys and, above all, equipment for babies. With a larger living area in the centre, you also have the option of spending a cosy day in the tent when it rains.
