When camping with the family, planning and organisation are the be-all and end-all. But what do you need for camping with children? It depends on the destination, the age of the children and personal wishes. To make it a little easier for you to prepare for your next camping holiday with children, we have put together a camping packing list for families. The most important documents
First check the most important documents and see for which country you may need certain visas, insurances or vaccinations. Make sure that all ID cards and other cards are still valid for long enough.

The tent equipment
With children, you need more space due to the additional luggage. Here it is practical to choose an additional sleeping cabin or a larger tent in general so that you can easily accommodate all the equipment for camping with children and it is more comfortable. There is enough space for camping equipment, toys and, above all, equipment for babies. With a larger living area in the centre, you also have the option of spending a cosy day in the tent when it rains.

First-aid kit
Minor injuries such as grazes are not uncommon with children. It is therefore important, especially when camping with the family, that you have a first-aid kit with wound care** with you. Remember to always take it with you on excursions to be prepared for all eventualities. In summer, don't forget to always have sun cream with you.

Keep an eye on the weather forecast to be prepared for the local temperatures. Even if high temperatures are forecast, rain showers cannot be ruled out. It is best to pack both clothing that will keep your children nice and warm and clothes that are more suitable for higher temperatures.
