Skandika roof tent Wildland thermal lining

When the days get shorter, the temperatures drop and the leaves change colour, we know that autumn is here. But does that have to be a reason to stop going on camping road trips? We think so: No! This thermal inner cabin is the perfect addition to extend the camping season in our Skandika Wildland roof tent without having to freeze at night.

The cabin is quickly and easily hooked into the tent - the devices for this are already provided in the tent. Like the roof tent itself, the thermal inner tent has two practical organiser pockets for important small items that need to be kept close to hand. Access to the windows and door remains possible, as the thermal cabin can be opened at the appropriate points using zips.

The 3-layer, quilted cabin has an insulating lining and significantly increases the comfort level of the Wildland roof tent on cooler days. However, the material of the cabin is not solely responsible for the cosy warmth. The layer of air that is created between the roof tent and the thermal cabin provides additional insulation for the interior and makes a significant contribution to keeping the heat inside. In addition, air and breathing moisture is successfully transported to the outside, significantly reducing the risk of condensation.

The thermal interior cabin is robust and easy to clean and can be washed in the washing machine at 30 °C on a gentle programme. A particularly practical feature is that it can simply remain fitted in the tent when the roof tent cover is closed and is therefore immediately ready for the next outdoor adventure. Nothing now stands in the way of camping road trips under colourful leaves in the autumn countryside.

Please note: The thermal inner cabin only helps to keep the tent warm and improve the interior climate. It is not sufficient protection against extreme cold. A sleeping bag adapted to the temperature and/or a safe heat source for tents are also necessary to prevent damage to health.
