SKANDIKA table tennis bat set with 3 balls

Table tennis was first played in England in 1874 and the bats used were whatever was to hand: badminton rackets, books or even frying pans!

Nowadays, there are fixed rules for table tennis as a sport and the bats are also specially developed and manufactured for it. The Skandika table tennis set was developed in co-operation with the Schildkröt company and our brand ambassador Joey Kelly in order to create the greatest possible enjoyment when playing. The all-round bats are ideal for both beginners and experienced players and the bats were last successfully played with by Joey Kelly in his RTL 24-hour sports challenge.

The Skandika set contains two identical rackets, 3 coloured balls and a carrying bag.

The Donic Basis Appelgren Line rackets with level 500 have a sponge thickness of 1.8 mm and are the perfect all-round rackets. The sponge thickness has a significant influence on the playing characteristics, as the sponge provides cushioning on the racket blade. The greater the sponge thickness, the greater the catapult, the higher the acceleration and the faster the ball. The medium sponge thickness of 1.8 mm is ideal for players with an advanced basic technique and ensures high ball control.

The three differently coloured balls are of Poly 40+ quality and completely celluloid-free.

The set comes in a practical, one-sided transparent carrier bag so that everything can always be stored and transported safely.
