What are the advantages of an ergometer?

As well as building up your leg muscles, ergometer training strengthens your cardiovascular system and promotes blood circulation. It also improves your fitness and increases your lung capacity.

What is the difference between an exercise bike and an ergometer?

With an ergometer you can set the wattage very precisely electrically, with an exercise bike you set the resistance manually in stages using a dial.

Can I also enter a training programme manually?

Most of our ergometers also have a manual programme where you can adjust the settings individually.

Can I lose weight with the fitness bike?

To lose weight with the ergometer, you should set a low resistance and increase the cadence. However, other fitness equipment such as a cross trainer or rowing machine are more effective for this training goal. To lose weight effectively and sustainably, you should also make sure you eat a balanced and healthy diet.

What needs to be considered with the flywheel mass?

The greater the flywheel mass, the smoother and more comfortable the movement. As the flywheel mass increases, the intensity of the training also increases.

Is the saddle height adjustable?

Yes, all our ergometers have a height-adjustable saddle so that you can adjust it to suit you.

Which ergometers are compatible with Kinomap?

Can I place a carpet under the ergometer?

We recommend placing a floor protection mat under the ergometer. This ensures that the fitness equipment does not slip and has a sound-insulating effect. It also protects your floor from scratches.

What braking systems are available for ergometers?

In principle, the following braking systems are available for ergometers: air resistance, induction and magnetic. All Skandika ergometers have a magnetic braking system. The advantages of this are that it is very precise, low-maintenance and quiet.

Welcome to the world of Fitnesstainment! The Bluetooth interface for connecting tablets or smartphones allows you to use fitness apps such as Kinomap and play your favourite playlists. End devices can even be charged directly on the computer via the USB port.

Riding fun for everyone

The individual height and horizontal adjustment of the saddle position allows exercisers between 150 and 205 cm tall to enjoy ergonomic workouts. This wide range and the maximum load weight of 150 kg make the Cykling P14 ergometer an ideal training device for both young and old.

Powerful workouts

The low entry for effortless mounting and dismounting, the 14 kg flywheel mass system and the low-maintenance, motorised magnetic brake system ensure a comfortable riding experience with a natural and quiet movement sequence. The 32 electrically adjustable resistance levels support targeted training.

Sound on!

The built-in loudspeakers enable direct sound playback via the computer, although you can also connect your own headphones via Bluetooth or the jack connection. The tablet holder above the touch display ensures that the device is safely stored during training.

Keep an eye on your progress

The display shows all relevant training data such as time, calories, heart rate, speed, distance, revolutions/min, watts and metabolic rate so that you can always keep an eye on your training progress. In addition to the number of watts, parameters such as gender, age and body weight can also be set for target-orientated training.

Pulse sensors for heart rate monitoring

The hand pulse sensors integrated in the handle make it possible to monitor the heart rate during training. Together with the heart rate controlled mode, they help you to always train at the right rhythm and heart rate. Transmission via a Bluetooth chest strap (available separately) is also possible.

Skandika x Kinomap

Train in the most beautiful places in the world with Kinomap. Through the Gold Partnership with Kinomap, Skandika customers receive a code to test the full version of the Kinomap app free of charge for 60 days. Live videos, coaching sessions and virtual training videos take every training session to a new level.

Personalised training

With 30 predefined training programmes and the option to save two additional user-definable programme profiles, several people can enjoy our Cykling P14 and tailor the training to their own wishes. The body fat measurement provides information about your current physical condition and health.

Magnetic brake system for quiet operation

The Cykling P14 is equipped with a powerful magnetic brake that enables precise resistance settings. With 32 different resistance levels that can be set either via the display or the central rotary knob, the ergometer is suitable for exercisers of all fitness levels.

Comfort and ergonomics

The comfortable saddle is padded 7 cm thick, as comfort is a must even during longer workouts. Non-slip pedals with adjustable loops guarantee a safe, smooth ride and a practical drink holder on the front column of the device provides the necessary refreshment during your workout.

Easy transport

Together with the handlebar handles, the integrated transport wheels on the front stand make it easy to move the Skandika Cykling P14 ergometer after training. The 41 kg bike can be angled effortlessly and moved in a back-friendly manner.
