Banana bread has become a real classic in recent years. The moist banana bread can be prepared in different variations. So that everyone can enjoy this delicious bread, we have a vegan banana bread recipe with crunchy nuts from the Dutch oven for you.
Preparation with briquettes
Prepare approx. 16-18 briquettes and place 2/3 under the pan and 1/3 on the lid when baking.

Preheat the oven to 180° C top/bottom heat.

Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork to create a puree.

Mix the flour with the baking powder, cinnamon and rolled oats, as well as a pinch of salt. Now add the liquid ingredients and mix everything together.

Then fold in the chopped nuts before placing everything in a Dutch oven lined with baking paper.

If you are baking the vegan banana bread over briquettes, place the lid on top and place approx. 1/3 of the prepared briquettes on it.

The baking time is approx. 50 minutes.
You can also fold blueberries into the batter at the end. This makes the banana bread in the Dutch oven particularly moist. If you like it a little sweeter, you can refine the banana bread with chocolate, such as dark chocolate or other vegan chocolate.
