Pizza buns are a great idea for several people and are always suitable for a party. They can be prepared in no time at all and can be filled to your own taste. Of course, you can also prepare the dough yourself. However, for the sake of simplicity, we have simply used ready-made pizza dough.
Preparation with briquettes
Depending on the size, you should place 6-7 briquettes under the Dutch Oven and around 10-12 on the lid when baking.
Preparation
1
Firstly, line your Dutch oven with baking paper. Otherwise the pizza slices will bake.
2
Roll out the pizza dough and mix the tomato purée with the tomato paste and season with garlic, salt and pepper.
3
Now spread your pizza dough with the sauce and then add the grated cheese and oregano.
4
Depending on which topping you have chosen, you should cut everything into fine cubes or slices and spread this on your pizza dough.
5
Roll up the dough lengthways and cut it into pieces about 4-5 cm in size. Place the individual pieces next to each other in the Dutch oven.
6
Now bake the pizza rolls in the Dutch oven for about 40 minutes.
We particularly like the combination of mushrooms, courgettes and aubergine. After you have placed the pizza slices close together in the Dutch oven, you can also spread some cheese on top of the pizza slices!
