Spooky pizza is one of the most popular Halloween recipes to bake. You can choose any toppings you like and add creative toppings to the pizza. We opted for a skull pizza with mushrooms and one with ghosts and spiders.
For the dough, you can either use the recipe from our favourite Dutch Oven Pizza or buy a ready-made dough.
Preparation with briquettes Prepare approx. 22-24 briquettes and place 1/3 under the pan and 2/3 on the lid when baking.
Preparation in the oven If you are baking the pizza in the oven, you can preheat the oven to 210 °C and bake the Halloween pizza directly in the lid.

To make the Halloween food pizza, first place baking paper in the Dutch oven so that nothing sticks. Then place either the prepared dough or the ready-made dough on top.

Now spread the tomato sauce on both pizzas and sprinkle the cheddar on top.

Cut the mozzarella into slices and cut them out in the shape of ghosts. Halve half of the olives and cut the other half into strips for the spider legs. You can also use small pieces for the eyes of the ghosts. Now top the first pizza with the olives and mozzarella.

Clean the mushrooms, cut them in half and use a straw to poke holes in the mushroom for the skull's eyes. Use a toothpick to make the holes for the nose and use a knife to turn the stalk of the mushroom into a set of teeth.

Then top the second pizza with the mushroom skulls.

Bake the pizza in the lid of the Dutch oven in the preheated oven for approx. 20 minutes.
