Who’d have guessed? Training and comfort go together. At least with our recumbent ergometer Løgn (Norwegian for recumbent). You train in a relaxed lying position and are just as effective at cardiovascular training as on any other training device. However, a recumbent bike places less strain on the spine, joints and ligaments than a bicycle trainer, so it is particularly recommended for people with back problems or overweight. The low access is a real advantage, especially for older people, but the high backrest and the comfort seat are a pleasure for all age groups. Generally speaking, more and more people are convinced by recumbent training because a recumbent ergometer is more stable than a conventional ergometer – this gives a safe feeling.
