Montana 8

We all love the thrill of camping adventures, but there’s no need to do it “the hard way”. The Montana 8 was designed with comfort in mind. You can camp in style without compromising on comfort, whether you’re on a campsite, at a festival, or even just in your garden at home.

The dark sleeping cabins are the real highlight of the Montana 8. Two sleeping cabins for 2 people each and one large cabin with an optional partition for up to 4 people are located on opposite ends of the spacious living area of 250 x 310 cm (2 m high), offering privacy even for large groups.

A new feature is the silver coating of the outer tent around the sleeping cabin area. Although this coating does not provide the same degree of darkness our Skandika Sleeper Technology does, it still contributes to a noticeable darkness and thus ensures a peaceful night’s sleep. For more flexibility, each cabin can either be fully closed or left open using only the second mosquito mesh door, meaning it’s not quite so dark, fresh air can still circulate, and unwanted insects are kept out.

There are small plastic windows in the lower section of the outer tent, positioned where practical half-moon openings with zips are fitted in the sleeping cabin walls. This allows for a little more daylight in the cabins, or for a cable to be passed through to charge your much-loved mobile phone.

With strong steel poles on the sides and flexible fibreglass poles over the roof, the tent stands safe and secure even in bad weather conditions. The water column of 5,000 mm for the outer tent and a separate bathtub floor with 10,000 mm water column keep everything dry and the company of friends and family can be enjoyed in the spacious interior. The breathable inner tent material and the permanent ventilation openings ensure a pleasant climate inside the tent.

When the sun returns, the large windows and doors on opposite sides of the living area provide a pleasant breeze.  Using the additional upright poles, the main entrance can even be converted into a sun canopy.
